Tiny Halloween Boo Bucket Crochet Pattern

A couple years ago, I made mini crochet boo buckets from McDonald's. (Get the pattern here!) As a 90s kid, I have a soft spot for all the Happy Meal toys from that time and the boo buckets were always one of my favorites.

This year,  I'm still on a boo bucket kick and made a super tiny version! The pattern was pretty easy to work up, since I already had the mini boo bucket pattern to work with, but making the faces was pretty tough. I underestimated how small  the bucket would be and snipping teeny, tiny eyes and mouths was definitely a challenge.

After lots of careful snips and using a lot of fray check, I did manage it and am pretty happy with how they came out! I included the template for the faces in the pattern pdf, which is available for download. If making the faces out of felt is too fussy, you could also try using fabric paint or embroidering the face on with some black thread. If you try any of these methods, let me know how it turns out!

I'm more than ready for Halloween and these tiny boo buckets are the perfect fall crochet pattern!

If you're looking for a fun and easy Halloween project, check out this pattern! They crochet up quickly and would make the cutest surprise for someone who also loves Halloween. If you try out my pattern, don't forget to tag me @thepudgyrabbit on Instagram, would love to see them!
